Curated packages pairing your Chanitcleer Inn stay with Rock City's signature seasonal events.
Chanticleer Inn sits directly across the street from Rock City Gardens, making it one of the easiest places to base a Lookout Mountain getaway. Throughout the year, several of our packages pair perfectly with what is happening just up the road, whether it’s spring wildflowers, summer evenings, fall colors, or holiday lights. Our offerings shift with the seasons, so take a look at what is currently available below, or check back as the months change.

Spring on Lookout Mountain means trails lined with azaleas, forsythia, rhododendron, and daffodils, and there is no better excuse to put our Hike Lookout Mountain package to use. It comes with a custom insulated cooler backpack, a house-made lunch or snack with beverages, and a curated trail map to the best vistas, plus two admission vouchers to Rock City. Visit between March 16 and May 17, and you will also catch Rock City’s Gnomes & Gardens season, with its blooming gardens and the interactive Gnome Quest trail.

Beat the Chattanooga heat with our Float and Freeze Escape, available May 25 through September 7, 2026. The package includes pool access with luxury floats, a Clumpies ice cream tasting flight served poolside with sparkling “pop-tail” pairings, a pint of Clumpies ice cream to enjoy, a selection of handcrafted summer iced beverages, and two admission vouchers to Rock City Gardens. This year, Rock City is marking the country’s 250th anniversary with its America 250 celebration (May 23 through August 9), bringing Barns2Birdhouses, Americana Days & Nights, and Dog Days of Summer to the gardens.

Fall is one of the loveliest times to be on the mountain, with the valley turning gold and crimson below the overlooks. Our Lookout Luncheon makes the most of it with a picnic menu of chef’s sandwiches, house-made chips, seasonal fruit, and dessert, a Chanticleer picnic blanket, your choice of wine or handcrafted iced beverages, and two admission vouchers to Rock City. Visit between September 18 and October 31, 2026, for the Enchanted Pumpkin Patch, included with regular Rock City admission, and wander through large-scale lighted jack-o’-lantern displays throughout the gardens.

Close out the year with our Enchanted Garden of Lights package: a gourmet hot chocolate bar with handcrafted marshmallows and festive toppings, a pair of artisan Chanticleer pottery mugs to keep, a keepsake holiday ornament, and two admission vouchers to Rock City’s magical Enchanted Garden of Lights, running nightly November 13 through December 31, 2026 (closed December 24).
Prefer something more flexible? If none of our set packages quite fit what you have in mind, just reach out and we will help put together a stay tailored to your visit, whether that means a custom pairing with Rock City or simply a few special touches for your room.
Most of our seasonal and add-on packages include two admission vouchers to Rock City as part of the package price, rather than offering a discount on tickets purchased separately. A stay booked without one of our packages does not include Rock City admission. Rock City Passholders, however, receive a discount on stays at Chanticleer Inn.
Chanticleer Inn is directly across the street from Rock City Gardens, so it is an easy walk from your room to the entrance.
