Nightfall Summer Concert Series

Nightfall is here, and it’s brightening up Friday nights in Chattanooga!  2017 brings us the 30th annual Nightfall music festival.  Each Friday, the Miller Plaza in downtown Chattanooga comes alive with nationally touring headliners, as well as local and regional talents who have fought hard to be here.  Opening acts begin at 7, with the headline show for the evening taking stage around 8pm.  A broad range of musical genres are featured throughout the summer, too, so you’re bound to find something you Nightfall Summer concerts in Chattanoogaenjoy.  We’ve already seen some great music, but here’s the lineup for the remainder of the summer:

July

  • July 7 – The Mailboxes open for Shawn Mullins
  • July 14 – Walrus opens for Foxygen
  • July 28 – Rick Rushing and the Blues Strangers opes for The Greyhounds,

August

  • August 4 – Josh Driver & the Dixieland Playboys open for Ben Miller Band
  • August 11 – Ashley and the Xs open for Major & the Monbacks
  • August 25 – Sistren opens for KP and the Boom Boom.

Nightfall isn’t the only great summer concert series happening in Chattanooga this summer, though.  Other great events include summer music weekends at Rock City Gardens, live music at the Chattanooga market, POPS on the River with the Chattanooga Symphony,  Wednesday Jazz at the Barking Legs Theater, plus a tremendous variety of live music at other venues around the city.
